I will work within your time and financial needs, as well as inform you of what isn't possible in the early stages.
Consultation.
Our relationship starts with an initial meeting to talk about the project you have in mind, timescales and budget. This meeting is predominantly about you - what you want to achieve, how you intend to use the space and the look and feel you want. We will also discuss your expectations on overall project management of the various trades.
You will get an opportunity to look at fabric swatches, wallpaper and paint memo samples so I can start to get an idea of textures and finishes that you like and that could work well in the space. I will measure up and then walk you through the process and answer any questions that you have. By the end of this initial meeting I will have a really good idea of the results you want and make sure you are 100% comfortable before you make the decision to move forward.
Agreed services and payments will be sent in a letter of agreement shortly following our meeting.
Design.
After the project scope has been agreed I will start my research and pull together example ‘design boards’, floorplans, samples and finishes so you can get a real sense of what the project will look like and cost. We will continue to discuss your ideas, changes and budget throughout this process until you are satisfied with the design.
After signing of the project scope I will develop the final drawings, engage the trades and start the formal material selection process. Where required I will accompany you to showrooms and suppliers.
Implementation.
Subject to the extent of the project management role previously agreed, I will monitor and manage progress to the timescales and budget. I will take care of the procurement and delivery of goods from suppliers and oversee the implementation to insure that all elements of the design phase go according to plan. You can expect regular updates and subject to the level of service agreed, regular visits.
Finishing Touches.
At the final stages of the implementation I walk the property to inspect all aspects of trades, materials and the install to ensure that they have been delivered as promised per the agreement. I will schedule the remaining soft furnishing, window treatments and then dress the interior with any accessories that are part of the project or existing items so at hand over the interior looks how you imagined it.
