New Jersey Herald Readers Choice Award

Having just been nominated for the Sussex country chamber of commerce "Entrepreneur of the year" in March I am made up that Nicola Jane Interiors made it to the shortlist for another award - this time by the NJ Herald for “Best New Business” which is another amazing accomplishment for us just 6 months after expanding to our new studio at The Shoppes At Lafayette.

The voting period ends at 5 p.m. Friday, April 19 and this years winners will be announced end of May. NJ Herald readers to cast their votes for the best of the best in Sussex County and the surrounding areas. 

The New Jersey Herald Readers' Choice Awards honor local businesses and organizations and reward those that have made the area an ideal place to live.

"The Readers' Choice Awards is an opportunity for NJ Herald readers to recognize those businesses deserved recognition within Sussex County. Many readers tend to keep the Readers' Choice Awards results handy, to know the top-ranked places to visit, which is fantastic advertising for all those businesses nominated.

Some of the other categories new to this year's ballot are the "best book store" in the area and "best pet services" for pet sitters, groomers and other pet service providers. Some annual favorites to choose include best restaurant, best pizza, best neighborhood market, best deli, best bar/tavern, best golf course, best hair salon, best barber, best pet products store, best photography business, best florist, best hardware store, best fitness center and best new business.

Lots of the stores at The Shoppes of Lafayette have been nominated. Our Charming Village is slowly coming back, and every bit of publicity is a great achievement for our village.
